I am getting more and more interested in accessible gardening, not just because we’re getting older, but in keeping with permaculture principles, making our garden maintenance less effort. Grassroots Garden of Buffalo has published a guide for making community gardens accessible. There are so many aspects to accessibility – walkability, accessibility to water, planters, railings, doorways and much more! One should not think of accessibility as a burden.
